The checker explains what it can verify from a spreadsheet and leaves uncertain product facts for a person to review.
Looks for duplicate IDs and repeated option combinations within a Shopify product, missing group IDs, and supported offer-format conflicts. It does not decide whether weight or price differences are intentional.
Titles outside 20–150 characters and descriptions under 80 characters are flagged for review. These are not keyword-density tests or AI opinions.
Unusually short or long custom SEO titles and descriptions receive review prompts without changing the score. Blank Shopify SEO fields use Shopify’s title and description fallback.

Will this change my store or spreadsheet?
No. The checker reads a local copy in this browser tab and provides a review list. It does not connect to your store, edit your original file, or import changes. Clear the result or close the tab when you are finished.
Does a good score mean Shopify will accept my file?
No. The score describes shopping-feed readiness under the listed checks. Shopify import rules and platform approval are separate. Product-page access, current stock, image quality, and the truth of product claims still need human verification.

Privacy and data handling
Catalog contents are read only in this browser tab. This app does not transmit, store, or retain the catalog. Privacy-preserving counters store only the UTC date and aggregate totals for page views, guide views, completed checks, guided demos, example downloads, action-file downloads, and feedback-button clicks—no cookie, IP address, identity, browser fingerprint, filename, score, product data, or catalog contents. The site host may still process ordinary request information such as IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the page. Do not include customer data, passwords, secret keys, or other personal or confidential information in a catalog. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@vermilionridge.com.
Beta terms and support
This free beta provides an informational preflight and may miss issues or flag items that are valid. Verify every recommendation against your source catalog and the current requirements of the destination platform. It is not certification, legal or tax advice, or a ranking forecast. The beta is self-service: reset and try a smaller file if the page becomes unresponsive, and never send catalog files by email.
